Data Acquisition

1. Open the RPS_PASS software. And click the switch to 'Acquisition' and then click the 'SELECT DIRECTORY' button and navigate to the folder where the Spectradyne nCS1 is saving its output files.

2. The acquisition interface will then open. Click the 'Go Live' button in the top left corner to start monitoring the Spectradyne nCS1 output folder.

3. You will not see the raw output of the acquired spectradyne data as soon as the _ss00 files are created.

4. To calibrate data as it is acquired click the switch button in the top left to 'on' and input the mean diameter of the spike-in bead in nanometers. All recordings will update automatically.

5. To remove instrument noise during acquisition to monitor particle event acquisitions only, right click anywhere on the acquisiton interface and select 'Remove noise' from the menu.

6. The bottom left plot is reserved for plotting custom acqusition statistics like total events and volume. These can be altered by right clicking on the plot and select the parameters of choice to view.
